Thats the trick to it...
I'm not gonna go into further detail, I don't publicly give out solid fighting tips, but *obviously* the aim is to move around unpredictably.
Think a little about that last sentence and you'll discover a thing or two, and if you're a newb, it will work.
@Overdosed's initial picture:
Actually there are a couple of pointers on how to improve that picture.
Are you American? If you are, then the picture would be rather accurate, but if you're a 50-60 pinger, then the 300 ping hitbox is *generally* closer to "2" on the diagram.
If I (~370) am fighting an American who is *sprinting* that *close* to me, then I'd aim for maybe 2.5-3 on that diagram, assuming they'd run straight left (right on their screen).

Example:
A 400 pinger and a 50 pinger are fighting. Neither of them have warp/game/fps lag, and none of them have packetloss, and they both have a constant hitbox (ie good internet connections).
The 400 pinger aims to hit the 50 pinger at the exact same spot where the 50 pinger aims for the 400 pinger.
Unfortunately for you, your high ping means you must lead aim more, for every single fighter.
On the plus side, your aim will improve well, and if you go on a server with a low ping, you'll be a solid fighter.
