Crashes in menu; problems loading minigames.

Hello,

I hope you guys could help me. I started playing sa-mp two days ago and since I started I've had crashes. When I press escape in the game, my screen turns black and I have to reboot my computer. Also I have another problem with minigames in some servers. When I join a minigame, I usually end up in a grey enviroment (I know it sounds weird), or in the exact same place when I joined on foot. The HUD displays all the information, but I cannot participate in the race, so I end up restarting sa-mp.

I have a AMD64 3700+ (singlecore), ATi X1950Pro, 1GB DDR400. I run catalyst 8.451.0.0. I've never had these problems in other games. I also use a no-cd fix (I've tried a lot of different fixes/cracks, because I lost my DVD). I run Windows XP.

well try to reinstall SA-MP .. and i feel it wont even work really ..

make sure your not using alot your RAM space  while ur ingame and also make sure to install GTA A well and there is no Missing Files like DATA files aswell the AMD64 3700+ is not so well your Ram is ok but as i said make sure to not to use alot of diffeent  programs while your ingame . and if your using something LIEK FUNCTIONS on SAMP like kyebinds. or any other stuff works with SA-MP  turn them off and then try ,  the Minigames useually works easy try /minigames        and it could be alos laggy so bad thoe days on the race the one in LS coz there an error of cars spawning there.  just try like  /derby  so it for sure nice and not laggy   hope i helped u as much as u want.

Haha, I'm sure it isn't my computer... my specs are more than recommended .

I tried reinstalling, but the same errors occur. I have no keybinds, my entire game (exept for the graphics configuration) is default. The only thing I've got running in the background is NOD32.

But thanks for the tips anyway...

(By the way, my RAM is the 'weakest' thing in my computer .)
