[Minigame/Feature] Some Stunt Features To LVP - Stunt Parks, Jumps, etc
#1
Stunting

Stunting has always been a popular aspect upon Grand Theft Auto Multiplayer Games, Being Multi Theft Auto or SA:MP.

I'm Propsing that in LVP 3.0, There be a /gotostunt command, Sort of like the taxi system, With multiple stunt areas. Being Jumps Such as Long Roads Leading into the night, Full of High Speed Drops, Ramps, And Loops, Or Stunt parks located at multiple places across Sanandreas, Being at sea, On The ground, Or even Mid-Air! The Server is called Las Venturas Playground, And I think stunting will certainly add the Playground aspect to the server!

Requirements/ Features:

Such a feature will be a lot of work, And some things that may be required for it include:

• A Few Decent Mappers, or some people who are willing to learn Mapping!
• Proper Stunt Parks/Jumps, Not some of the ones I've seen, Im talking Huge Halfpipes, Custom Loops using roads, etc! Make LVP stand out from the rest.
• A user/vehicle limit on each stunt zone. To many Users/Vehicles in a particular stunt area can be annoying
• World Boundries set for the stunt zone

This offcourse is just the basics of the idea!

Not bad. I agree that we would need to add some sort of stunting element to the gamemode.
The controlled ramping, however, seems to be working well among players - we should keep that.
We might be able to incorporate this with Peter's training zone idea, as well. Don't just stunt for fun, also have areas for driving practice...but that's a whole 'nother story.
I think it would be easier to use per-player dimensions for this.

Anyone ever played Tony Hawk Pro Skater or such? I'll explain.

Basically in skate demos, you have say 3 minutes to score as many points as you can. We could do something similar on LVP.

Each contender has a minute to score as big of a score they can - their score calculated on how much air they can get, how much they can spin, how many flips they can do etc. etc.

This goes on for 3 rounds - the person with the highest average wins?

That means flukes won't be rewarded.

Thats good, i understand what you mean by the skate demos. What about if someones car explodes though, do they just...lose ?. Or will they respawn?

Lose. I'd say the equivalent of a bail, but bailing isn't quite the same as blowing up.  8)7

I like the idea - we could combine this with the ability to handle stunts ourselfes, and thus keep track of the stunts people make in such an area. As an enhancement on top of that, we could have daily events encouraging people to make the most impressive stunts around, with which the winner would get a certain amount of cash or other enhancement to his/her profile. Best stunter of LVP, or something like.

Insane Stunt Bonuses are not supported with Mta, However, I remember seeing a released recsource featuring such a thing, I'll try and find the link.

Anyway, I guess anythings possible :)

They are. I'm really irritated by people screaming specific things aren't possible while they aren't, entire gangs refuse to play MTA because of the weapon skill settings, which are easily changable :X

They're possible, just they don't use regular text draws but MTA's GUI text system instead, I think (this is what I saw on some official server).

Well looking at how advanced the GUI system is, Plus the TextDraw Support, I think you could get it perfect.

Not really, Testing such things in the DP1 Proved that it was bugged and didn't save with other skins or spawning. I dunno whether its fixed in the Developer pack 2 or not, Either that, Or It was a dodgey script I was using, or just somthing I was doing wrong.

It also seems that weapons such as the (Sniper) Rifle were bugged aswell, Firing like a machine gun, Again whether this can be fixed with scripting I dont know...
