Before i post this riddle i would just like to say that TRaven is right in the dark/heavy argument

it is the same with heat:
there is no such thing as cold,just absence of heat.

Now the riddle:

there are 5 men in a car, They all get out of the car in the middle of a rain storm.
none of them have umbrellas but only 4 get wet.

That is true, as heat is a form of energy, and when something heats up its particles move more than before, and bump other particles, which bump others and others and so fourth. When something is cold it just lacks this energy, the bumping and so fourth.
