Has Anybody seen the "full" moon lately?

I've been looking up at the moon the past few nights (about 4 or 5) and even though it's been a crescent moon, you can still see the outline of the rest of it.  I wish I had a pic of it (gonna try to get one tomorrow), but seriously.  I hope you guys know what i'm talking about.  It's like you can see the shadow on the moon instead of just the crescent illuminated part.

Yes I saw it too yesterday. Not really special though. Happens when it is clear.

yea, i've just never seen it like that before.  I don't usually look up at the moon but I do alot when I'm outside at work.

a couple of months ago we saw a space station fly across the sky.
