I did say Algeria are better than people think. They might not won it but i bet not many of you expected them to be this good against Germany. I doubt Germany can make it to the final if they continue to press so high. Typical bayern style tactics, a smart real type side will mess them on the counter

Not an impressive first half. I was expecting at least one goal from Germany by now.

The first halves have been pretty goal-free during this whole tournament, for the most part. It seemed that in the end of the first half Germany slowly started to pick up their pace though, hoping to see at least 3 goals in the 2nd half.

Lol shutup stop being so American, you don't need a goal for a half to be impressive, the chances have been there, its at the very least been incredibly surprising at times

I love it how "not so big" teams sometimes play shit against other "not so big" teams (remember for example Ghana vs. United States, Algeria itself vs. Belgium, or Nigeria vs. Iran), but they do grow up and perform great against big teams (Ghana vs. Germany, Nigeria vs. Argentina and France today, or Algeria vs. Germany, to name a few) exposing and exploiting all big teams' flaws. They had an explosive and scary start, VERY fast and made transitions from defending to attacking very well. That could end up going against theirselves though, because they ran too much in this first half and could end up demolished in the last minutes. As Gibbs said, Germany was slowly waking up by the end of the first half. This is gonna be interesting, but I still think (and hope) Germany will get this. Great match so far.

Still wouldn't call what we saw so far "impressive" It lacked something, imo the France - Otherteam game was more interesting today... Wow, it's completely ridiculous but throughout this whole tournament I've noticed that just a few hours after some game that I was intensely in love with, I forgot who it was between. Today almost the whole time I couldn't remember how the first game of yesterday..... CANT WRITE IT*S CONNTINUING
