I agree, we haven't beaten Spurs in years and that fact and the fact that they were on a 12-game unbeaten run, if those were our stats I'd favour us to lose. I remember last season or the season before we faced a team who was said to not beat Liverpool since the '50s and I think we lost, or drew that game. Can't remember who it was though. This time we were the team who did that to someone else.
Bale is younger than Suárez and has time on his side to improve more than Suárez can. I think Suárez's main area for improvement will be his attitude which has improved this season but he still has his moments (like the dive that got him the penalty or standing on the Zenit player's back and jumping off). From what I've seen of Bale he only has the diving which can easily be cut out (C.Ronaldo is an example of this).
I'd like to think that at present Suárez is the better player with him being more tricky but then I've seen a lot more of Suárez than I have of Bale so I couldn't make a fair and completely unbiased judgement.
