<h2>The contest</h2><p>Dear LVP-players,</p><p>As our community grows ever larger we are looking to new ways to make us seen. As a first effort to make us more visible and to satisfy our pride we will be creating some special LVP-art. This art will have the form of banners that can be placed on sites and in signatures.</p><p>To reflect the potent of our community we would like that you make those banners. In an effort to realize this, this banner contest has been created. For an entry to be valid it will be bound to as few rules as possible as not to hamper your inspiration.</p><p>So are you interested in creating the new face of LVP to the outside world? <h2>The rules</h2><p>To guarantee the best outcome there will be a few rules that entries will have to satisfy. These rules are regarding: size, content, file-format, copyright and some general stuff.</p><p>Size: the entry has to look like a banner and have a width of no more than 500 pixels and a height of no more than 100 pixels. We would appreciate it though if you try to make it 468x60.</p><p>Content: the banner should be easily linked to LVP. If someone looks at it, he should think about GTA San Andreas, sa-mp and know LVP is the best server to play it on. Our IP or url on it is not mandatory, but highly recommended. The visual content should be safe for work, but border treading is okay. We are not playing Kitty Online, right? Also, refrain from making a banner that promotes or attacks a certain gang.</p><p>File-format: your entry should be filed as .psd (photoshop) or .xcf (gimp). Static banners only, so no moving parts please.</p><p>Copyright: your entry will remain your property! But by participating in this contest you’ll give LVP the permission to use and derive from your work in any way we see fit. Also make sure when you use copyrighted material in your banner it constitutes fair use!</p><p>Some other things: You can only file <b>one entry</b>, so make sure you're completely satisfied before you submit. If we receive multiple entries only your last entry will be valid.
You can put your own name or alias on the banner, but make sure it is modes. We expect something like a signature on a painting. Mail only a .jpg or .png version, we will only request the ‘workversion’ (psd/xcf) of the winner.</p><p>Make sure you include your nickname in the mail. On this board there will be a list of nicks whose submission has been accepted. After that we will set up a voting system to allow all registered players on this forum with <b>at least 10 posts</b> to vote on the banner that is the best representation of our community. Votes of regular players, mods, admins and management will have equal value.</p><p>The winner of the contest will of course gain eternal glory! Besides that his or her (real) name will be placed prominently on the page offering the banners.</p><p>Now for the real goodies, we will have a nice ingame reward for you to make sure you will never be forgotten. What exactly is still under debate by the management, but you can be sure it will be no peanuts!
