!!
cool.

Ok so questions, err

Basic details - name, age, dob (address, photo, and bank details preferably too)
SA-MP forum profile url
LVP Forum profile url

I don't really think we should ask any bs questions like "in 400 words describe why you want to dev for lvp", because although those questions tend to be good to establish whether the applicant is a retard or not, it may discourage some half decent people from applying.

We can ask for a reference though. Something that the applicant has scripted / made to show off their skills.

Can I be frank and advocate for lesser personal details? I see no reason to care for their age, address, photo, bank details etcetera. How about (including some humor):
  • Your name
  • Your e-mail address
  • Link to your LVP profile URL (require them to be logged in on the website and get this automatically?)
  • Link to your SA-MP profile URL
  • Why do you want to script for LVP?
  • Name a Las Venturas Playground bug which you'd love to fix.
  • On a scale from 1 to Y_Less, how proficient are you at Pawn?

Most of the SA-MP Scripters are below 16 years. I honestly think the age does matter. Young people have a chance to betray the server if they won't get what they want. I am not saying older people won't, but most of the younger people will have this chance.

We have(had?) Management members younger than sixteen. I see it as a follow-up question. If we're interested in their contributions, we'll want to have a "feel" of how they work either way, and I'm sure they won't be granted access to the repository immediately anyway.

The bar for filling out the initial form should be as low as possible.

Furthermore, it'd be good if our source would leak. That'd create a nice direct incentive to move to open source (*runs*) :).

I'm 16!

Joined the crew at 14. As I agree in some scenarios that age influences responsibility, it's not the case all the time. I don't think age should be a deciding factor.

Yeah I wasn't serious about the part in brackets.

Agreed with your questions :)
