For .11 I'd like to add about 100 or so more spawn points.

A command has been added to the test server: /addspawn

This command will dump your co-ords to a file and add the spawn point to the handler.

I need some help with doing this.

Some notes:-

- You can add spawn points in interiors, but please, strictly interiors which spawn the player in LV when they walk out. For example, Ammunation or 24/7 might spawn the player in LS when they walk outside the yellow marker (GTA 'bug')
- Make sure you are ON FOOT when you do add a spawn point otherwise it will register as a vehicle spawn point
- Do not add spawn points in silly places. Use common sense. On top of roofs and things are not acceptable.
- Do not add spawn points on any custom objects whatsoever
- Make sure no vehicles spawn at the spawn point. We've had instances in the past where players may spawn under a vehicle and instantly die.

On Saturday 19th May at 14:00 GMT+1 we'll be running the latest version of the gamemode on the test server where we'd like some help with collecting spawn points.

Please do join and help out.

Please also note that all spawn points will be monitored. In addition a map icon will be placed on the radar of the newly added spawn location so please don't break any of the above guidelines.

Having every Beta adding spawn points were they want will just end up sloppy and won't be spread out evenly over the whole city etc... and since theres an issue with spawn points on vehicles it kinda makes sence the same ppl who are re-doing the vehicle map add the spawn points?

I'm sure Beaner and Pedro would join me on the server later tonight and we cañ have your spawn points addedin well under an hour and you'll know they'll be on decent quality since the 3 of us know the server well

We don´t have beta testers for nothing, I am sure that every beta tester is a dedicated player and capable of adding serious spawnpoints. It´s really not necessary to put us away as ´complete idiots´...

Having every beta tester adding spawnpoints will end in up a map with a lot of spawnpoints, some of them good, some of them bad. That´s just a personal opinion, I doubt if I will agree with every spawnpoints you guys decide to add. If you have a lot of spawnpoints, you only have to filter out a few to end up with a lot of worthy spawns. Quality out of quantity, delicious isn´t it?

I just checked the Beta Testers Team and every single one on the list is a capable helper!

But as you don't seem to need further help I think u can do this without me  :X

I feel 100 spawn points is just not needed, they would be bunched up in some areas instead of evenly distributed throughout LV.

Currently what stands, 20? I feel double would be all that's needed, regardless, spawn killing is not much of an issue. As for Sophia's statement, quality?! The odds are about 6 testers will actually be participating in this, what is quality when setting a spawn point?

- Make sure it's on the ground.
- Make sure it's near an accessible vehicle.
This one being important, it truly does suck to be spawned out in middle of a field of warehouses and the only thing you get to drive is a slow, trashy vehicle, if a vehicle at all, this is what my vehicle layouts were made to compensate.
- Make sure it's not cluttered near other spawn areas.
- Make sure it's not in a wide open area, if that even matters.

Saying that the spawn points "need quality", the only thing I can really comprehend for what you said is unnecessary, anyone here is capable of setting a proper spawn point, and if they some how mess up, it can be removed in the future. The way you stated it just basically says you would rather shove every other beta tester here away because they're ignorant, or just complete idiots, the following statement supporting my point.

Might I suggest if my spawn selection idea is not welcomed, to instead make the spawn areas be in a safer areas, and include a protection radius of about 5 meters, in addition the point that only results in a 5-15 second long protection. Giving the player time to decide what he's going to do, but leaving the area within that amount of time disable his protection immediately at his own fault, instead of giving a player temporary god mode.

If I read correctly Jay asked us to get off our asses tomorrow at 14:00 GMT+1. I think you misunderstand the point that's being made here: we would love to do something, and do it right. What's the point being ignorant and doing everything alone? If we add spawnpoints all together you would still end up with the ones you choosed.... and a lot more worthy spawns.
