Dragons are in 1.9 Pre-release 4. Not actually in the game atm, but you can add some files to your game to spawn one with a gold sword.

They look awesome, and the animation is amazing.

Yea, they look nice and are animated well, but like wtf. Some of these new features are just getting ridiculous imo.
