SA-MP Live

Someone showed me this pretty good program the other day, called SA-MP Live. It's basically XFire but specifically for SA-MP. It has an integrated friends list, chat, browser and other stuff.

Admittedly it's a lil pointless if you actually use XFire, but it doesn't require as much memory (I always find that XFire slows down gameplay) and it runs faster.

well.. isnt this what Xfire is made up for. ? its just like a messenger which can be used ingame.. ? were u not able to talk to players / Friends on another server?

I was going to try this but read a few reviews and noticed a few reports of instability issues and bugs. Maybe when it's out of BETA I'll try it

I don't really know why anyone would want to use a program that effectively does less than similar programs that probably have a lot more support and bigger userbases.
