The Veteran. I get the feeling it tries to be too realistic. It shows the main character trying to adjust to life outside of the army, and that he suffers from Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. But it doesn't go deep enough into it to make it a major factor of the story, and it's the same with other plot points. At one point he might be fighting a group of people in a car, the next he's too shaky to clean a gun. Etc.
I feel like they tried to do the right things for each factor in the movie, but stopped right before they got the right amount.
