Why the hell would you need to do that anyway? Look at your CPU its good enough to run new games on max it will definetly run gta sa smooth....

His method doesn't look too stable at all... forcing something like that is sure to lead to issues.

I dont got any problems doing that, didnt notice any changes ingame. Btw I only got a shitty 2.2Ghz quadcore and easily get 20fps more when I do that, which means I dont got that lag around the ship zone anymore cause the fps does hardly drop.

Interesting, also the 945 is like 3.2ghz... it could possibly be your graphic card?

Hm I dunno, the main thing I care about is that it actually helps me playing without lag (in places like the ship zone).
I got a geforce 9600GT with 1024MB DDR2 and like I said a shitty quadcore (AMD Phenom 9500 4x2,2Ghz)

You got same CPU as me :D Mine's black edition, not that it makes any difference. Haven't overclocked mine though, haven't found the need to nor do i know how to easily.
