Tennis, anyone?

I used to play tennis for like... 5 years or so. Then I quit since I got bored of it.

It is amazing that just 12 months ago Federer was the talk of tennis──having just broken through for a first French Open title and then won Wimbledon to set the Grand Slam titles mark at 15 wins. Now, with the losses to Soderling and Berdych, and a drop behind Nadal and Novak Djokovic to #3 in the rankings, the Federer negativity vibe has heightened again. Federer is the undisputed king of tennis, it's only a matter of time when Federer's back where he belongs - on top of the tennis world.

With the US Open just around the corner, which Federer has been in the last six finals, losing only last year's to Juan Martin del Portro, this will be an important time for him. Nadal, seeming to always be physically beat up by the time Flushing Meadows rolls around, has done no better than two semi-finals – in 2008 and 2009.

And fuck off, bubbles.

I play tennis :)

Training every week, doing many tournaments :D

2 times a year there are competitions of 6 weeks with every week 1 match.

I'm playing since my 7th and still (8 years now)
Still love it <3 especially with all friends doing it too..=D

I've also played football(soccer) but I stopped with it because meh.. wasn't fun anymore.

One regret I have is not playing tennis competitively when I was younger. It's probably too late to start now, though. I can remember my first lesson I had when I was a 12 years old, the coach thought I had lessons before as I was really good for just a beginner. "Who was your coach before?", he said. :P

Federer's the best player ever IMO.

It's never too late.
I've used that excuse for a few things (guitar included), but any proper sportsman or artist will tell you that it's never too late to start.

I used to play tennis when I was about 12-14 or something. I was quite good (at least: that's what people and the teachers always told me :+ ). But at one day they asked me to play competition and they placed me in a group with guys about 3-4 years older then me, so I lost every match. This made me ragequit from tennis :P

A shame actually, because tennis is one of the best sports I've played.

Rafael Nadal is better then Federer, but Federer is a veteran and knows every trick in the game which makes him super elite.

If Nadal was better than Federer then he'd have a better record than Federer.
Nadal gets the better of Federer when they go against each other head on, but Federer is definitely a greater all-round tennis player, and the only ones that can be compared to him are the greats of the past such as Sampras, Laver etc.
