Xfire on Windows 7 x64
#1
I've noticed some games are detected with xfire, and it shows in my status when I'm playing the games, yet the xfire in-game will not work.

This happened when I switched to x64, I have tried to look it up on google all I kept getting was a bunch of useless info. I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix or has the same issue, some of the games being.

Halo 2 vista & Crysis

Both are purchased copies and are not cracked or pirated in any way.

No it's not that, the entire Xfire in-game will not start with those 2 games. The rest work fine.

That's odd. To be honest, I'm not sure if my Xfire worked with Crysis.
I'm on x64 7 too. But I barely use it, so I wouldn't know...

One thing you could try is by going to: "Tools > Options > Games > [Click the game in the list]".
In the bottom right there is "In-Game Renderer", try changing that one.
Note: I'm not sure if this works with the games you mention but it works with Battlefield: Bad Company 2, so I thought I'd at least suggest it. :+

What about not skipping the option "Detecting installed games" whenever you start Xfire?

It's all detected, it just doesn't want to come on in those 2 games, when I had windows 7 32bit it worked just fine.
