[CSI] Carbombs
#1
I've had a few problems with these.

- They don't always kill the person, even with the highest explosion
- Can't detonate remote bombs outside the car (I'm using a laptop, maybe that's got something to do with it)
- No kill point on the scoreboard when they do kill, and you get no money
- Timed bomb literally gives you enough time to back out of the bomb shop, get out of the car, and run away

So maybe create a new way to detonate for laptop users? And either put a longer timer on the timed bombs, or have the timer start when you exit the vehicle? Also, being able to put bombs on bikes would be epic, just sayin'.

This depends entirely on the circumstances. It's not a bug, you just need to know what you're doing.

The detonation button is the button you use to look behind. Generally with laptops, you can press both mouse buttons as a substitute for the middle mouse button. Alternatively, you can reconfigure your look behind control in the pause menu.

The reason you get no money is because it's the carbomb that is killing the player, not you. Death messages only show when a player kills another player.

That's the point.

- So what am I doing wrong when I spend $1,400,000 on a carbomb that is supposed to kill the player based on the fact that he's in the car when it explodes, as he would die any other time he's in a car when it explodes? (engine bomb specifically)

- I will give this a shot again and let you know how it goes, thanks.

- Eh, it'd be cool if you could at least get a kill point, if not the player's money. Figure you spend over a million for the bomb and risk blowing yourself up, you should get a little something, know what I mean?

- Seriously? Come on. That's $2,000,000 down the drain for a bomb with a 6 second timer on it, that would only come in handy when you're chased to the bomb shop, so you could back out and MAYBE blow up their car if they didn't see it coming. The only other use I can think of for that is if you were trolling and wanted to destroy the merchant vehicle so no one could return it. If you seriously consider any of my suggestions, let this be the one.

To point 4: You may be pressing a wrong button, setting the timer. I don't use those bombs a lot but I tried them before and I could set the timer myself. It didn't just start whenever I got out of the shop.

I'll mess with them some more and see how it goes.
