My father bought me that phone one month ago, and now I lost it.
Seems someone found it and closed because the phone is not working anymore(closed by someone).
Is there any way to identify the phone or something...?

Depends on the insurance. Most insurances dont support lost/theft. Call up your phone service.

You really think that your mobile phones icon will be displayed on the GPS map? Tough luck I guess.

Closed as in someone just put a new sim in it?

If you have the box there should be a sticker on with with the IEMI number of the phone.  If you ring your service provider that sold you the phone and report the phone lost or stolen they can block the phone from being used on any network.

There are ways around it, but it would stop 99.99% of people from using your lost phone. Some satisfaction at least.

Hmm what if they unlock it? as in they can use it for any service, can the service provider still block the phone?

Yeah once the IEMI number is blocked it won't work on the majority of networks worldwhile bascially means the phone is a brick with a mp3 player.  The system is there to stop people getting mugged/killed for their phone - kinda pointless if its going to be disabled.
