You don't have a fucking clue what metal is.
You're thinking of the emo/metalcore/numetal shit from kids that look like this:

Your typical RnB/pop and even hiphop at times is also the real emo shit- if you ever actually pay attention to the lyrics it's all generally whining about a girl that dumped them or whining about how much they love someone.

Real metal bands don't have songs whining about the above topics, they don't wear eyeliner or makeup (with the exception of black metal) and are pretty much the polar opposite of 'emo.'
Do your research before talking shit on a genre that puts your favourite music to shame in every category.

Anyway, on a lighter note:

Yup metalcore and nu-metal are the enemy of REAL metalheads. I'll also throw in deathcore because a lot of kids like to call that death metal but it's just poser shit.

Yeah generally metalcore>nu-metal/deathcore. Deathcore's pretty much as bad as it gets- metalcore have the odd redeemable band but most of them are older and classified as crossover thrash anyway.

Anyway I'm gonna see Sonata Arctica (with Vanishing Point, and Ensiferum) on tuesday. Should be a sweet show, same venue I saw Queensryche.

Offtopic again, but by god that may've been the best show I ever went to.
Each band was excellent (as they all are international acts, though VP are from the same city as myself), but Ensiferum just blew me away.
