What do you want them to do? Suck your cock? I'll turn off the lights in my house but I don't know the reason behind all this. Can somebody explain?

LMAO.
I mean - are they willing to stand up against global warming with military power etc.
It's all upon them.

All this "global warming" is a major overhyped bullshit.

Its proven that the world didnt get the slightest bit warmer in the last past 10 years (yeah, science tried to cover it up cos it would make ppl think about reducing their wages).

If you look back in history, there ALWAYS were times with a rising temperature and times it cooled down (periodically), so, im sure the CO2 part plays a little role but its damn overhyped.

Scientist expected the world temperature to increase by 0.5°C per 30 years, which kind of isnt true since it didnt get any warmer in the last 10 years. (ofcourse it takes around 20-45 years for the CO² to get into the highest air spheres (dont know the english expression), so we might see a bigger change in another 10 years but i doubt it.

Fact is, its overhyped.

Ofcourse the world is getting warmer at the moment, nobody will deny that - but its slower then people expected and its NOT proven that its caused by humans. All the CO2 hype might "increase" the warming, but nobody can guess the percentage

For example:

In the medieval age, the global temperature was a lot higher then it is now, and back then there were absolutely no CO2 emission cos they simply didnt have factories, cars, planes and all that shit

Well, then we just don't have to worry about it. Then we don't have to send a message to the world leaders :D

Humans don't exactly help with it, but it's not all down to us...I mean we've never been on Venus and look what happened to that.

Yeah, I've heard too that there possibly was a similar climate to earth, mby water, etc.orsmth
But now it's a freaking mess.
Hope all goes well, I might do the Earth Hour, just for fun :D

Meh, all in all it's more like people's caprice, if shit's that bad we're not helping with it in any way, instead making it worse, so imo it's a waste of time... I don't think turning the lights off for a bit will magically make the problem vanish, nor will it really "motivate" people to do shit (because I remember we did the same "turn your lights off shit" like 10 years ago, and what happened? Are we better now?) So in what concerns to me,  :r

You might not have to worry about it, but what about your grandchildren's grandchildren?

Who said turning the lights off for an hour would magically save the earth?

Your naïveness irritates me.

Did our grandparents' grandparents worry about us? If they had I think we wouldn't be like "this" now

Duh, lol, that's what I'm saying, that's precisely why I see it's pointless, because it won't help shit, it's not the first time people does this, yet we're getting worse and worse -.- however, nvm, maybe I'm "naïve" enough to not believe the same shit as you  :w
