Liverpool 3 - 0 Lille ( AGG: 3-1 )

Great game. Great play, even from Lucas. Babel played alright but didn't play to the level he could. Insua did okay defending but kept wasting chances. And of course, Torres. 4 goals in 2 games! Just goes to show that he really was missed when he got injured.

People insult Lucas. I hated him last season (the only Liverpool player I've ever actually hated) but this season I started liking him, but of course prefer Aquaman to him. But if it weren't for Lucas' dive (yes, I believe he fell over too easy, but then again he is weak) Gerrard wouldn't have got that penalty which gave us the boost. We played well up to that penalty but wouldn't have done so well I reckon.



But more interesting news (yes, I called something more interesting than Liverpool coming out on top of a defeat )

Fulham! They lost to Juventus last week, 3-1 it was. It looked like it was all over. A team like Juventus going 3-1 up against Fulham...how wrong were we?

Fulham 4 - 1 Juventus ( AGG 5-4 ). Really nice goals too.


The draw's tomorrow. There are some hard bastards in the last 8 such as Valencia. If I had to choose, I'd choose Hamburg. Standard Liege are there too but I respect them and want them to do well if we don't.

If Liverpool don't win the Europa, I want Fulham to. Not because they're English (as that's the reason I want the English clubs in the CL to lose) but because they've done well and, like Liege, I respect them. Plus they have Danny Murphy.


Lol I should be the one doing the reports on the Liverpool site I always do big reports on current events in football.

Right now, Aquilani is 'sick' that's why he wasn't playing today, but Lucas did (Rafa loves Lucas) but hopefully he'll be better for Sunday. Torres will hopefully not get crippled in training leading up to Sunday, nor will any other key players.

Man U are 2 points ahead of Chelsea in 1st place, but Chelsea have a game in hand, so if they win they'll be 1 point ahead. If Liverpool beat Man U, that'll help Chelsea even more. You're NOT beating our title record!

Bayern Munich/Manchester United v Lyon/Bordeaux - Man U vs Lyon...I'd want to say Lyon, looks more in Man U's favour but I actually think Lyon can win. They've surprised us all with many great wins this season.


Liverpool have Benfica in the Europa. The ONE team I didn't want us to end up against just yet, and we have 'em.

wolfsburg winning the LE would be fucking great, but i doubt it. Sucks that Bremen got kicked out (with 1:1  and 4:4, lol), they are better compared to Wolfsburg and Hamburg who made it
