Rampages!

Hello,

Exquiza was bored and started playing on LWs (since he's banned on LVP), so I joined him and there are these cool rampages spread all around LV. There's a skull pickup, if you walk onto it, you get a message 'Press 2 to start the rampage'. Then you get a random weapon with unlimited ammo, and x minutes to kill 10 people for example. Why don't we implement something alike in LVP?

What do you think the point of this topic is? He's mentioned the basics already, described how LWs do it, and is looking for other developers' ideas and opinions. Being GTA addicts we all know how Kill Frenzys / Rampages work.

I actually had this feature planned for 2.90, infact I even made a start on it but didn't get around to finishing it. (Funny how I mentioned it on a channel were Popz was present once afterwhich the feature appeard in Littlewhiteys a week later). I was planning on creating a menu available to admins to be able to customize and build them ingame.

+1, but obviously we need to progress further with the current roadmap first.

Of course but this isn't much of a good suggestion, just "Hey they have, it's cool, let's have it too". Just "random weapons and x time or something". Make a proper suggestion with what guns would be in it, should it be announced(possibly rocket launcher in it), how much cash should they win, possible to have several rampages at once or only one?

Shall I start making it?

My idea:

- A few rampages spread around LV
- If you pick it up, the rampage starts.
- All of your guns are gone for 10 minutes, and you get to kill 10 persons.
- You get one random gun with unlimited ammo.
- If you respawn, you get the weapon again
- If you win the rampage, you get $$$

I say after respawn / death, the Kill frenzy ends.

Anyway, I don't think this should be worked on just yet, we do have a few bugs to fix.

Getting 10 kills without dying is rather hard I think . Especially with just one weapon
