I agree with the points that Peter expressed above, as we haven't seen anything to prove that the sync is good, which is important for online games.


Also, it seems that MTA has alot of features that please the eye, but lack things like SA-MP's virtual worlds, which are very handy but aren't immediately identifiable.

MTA is too late, and it seems that 0.2.2 (in my opinion) will bring some new features, and not only bugfixes. If the SA-MP dev team can come up with some nice features like the object skinning, and maybe allow gamemode scripters to resize objects, for example, MTA:DM will be dead on arrival.

but I dont think thats possible (never saw it on gtaforums (but I never searched :P))

custom models are just to much work to make, or they look like crap DISlike it

sa-mp has gravity!?

the weather blending looks really nice, maybe an idea for 0.2.2-3 ? :)

I always thought weather blend was actually possible with 0.2 somehow, Guess I was wrong!

Anyways Back ontopic:

But when MTA does come out, Looking at some of the features such as Paintballing Surfing and weather blend, It will be a good thing to play!!

Also, I seen in one of the Pictures, As a passenger you can driveby with Pistols!! w000t!! That will own!

For some reason the SA-MP team removed that feature in the Alphas :(

Meh, MTA may be slightly ahead in some areas, but you never know, the sa-mp team could have all this, but are testing it to the bone to mae sure bugs in it are minimal, from what i seen when i played mta once or twice, it wasnt very fun....to say the least

LOL, only 32  _O- Thats like a minimum in SA:MP so, SA:MP ftw!
200 players owyeah. I don't really like MTA, just doesn't look cool. SA-MP is way better  :P

Actually MTA got such a feature, but they called it "Dimensions"... they announced it somewhere in 2006 though ;)
