Yeah it becomes just a tad harder when you're preoccupied fighting 5 other fighters above your level, no offense intended.

Can't that be scripted pretty much the same way as a Driveby?

Remove rc baron (or wtever the name of the plane is) and add the rc goblin (the little helicopter)

goblins only thing that can kill is its propeler (which i think you'll all agree you'd have to be a complete rtrd to die from)

afaik the RC Goblin was bugged, and you didn't get a lame kill for killing with the blades.

in order to actually shot down a rc plane , u need to nade it , which it blows up and person dies , though i agree that it has auto aim and i agree with it being considered as a lame kill , but if its able to give u a revenge menu like drive by's , then that just takes away the fun off the rc plane , though i doubt u can "script" it and make it NOT shot.

I think I mentioned a lame-kill menu in my thread complaining about them. Yeah give us lamekills then players will eventually get bored of trying to kill people. I find them fun to fly around and stuff but they get annoying when people shoot you with them, especially when it's the same person overdoing it.

I use the rc baron sometimes when im bored i find it very good to kill people with a plane but its hard to hit them but its lame

Oh yeah, thanks for bumping it, anyway I agree with the punishment menu idea, because after all it's still considered a drive-by, it has autoaim and even though its health was halved it's pretty hard to take them down while flying, I mostly blow (nade) them when on ground, plus what Maddolis said, what if you're having a duel, etc and suddenly some of these guys comes and shoots you, reduces your hp to 5 for example and your opponent then kills you? That'd get anyone pissed. Some people say "if you're dueling and don't wanna be interrupted go to a virtual world", but that wouldn't work 100%, since not all the duels you have are previously planned.

As for lame kills, don't think that'd work.
Punishment menu; if we give our donators something extra, why use them at all if you will be punished for doing so..

It's not the fact that you as VIP get punished for using it, it's how much do you use -> abuse it, however, in the other hand, it's not fair that donators get extra features if these will be used to annoy non-VIP players, or even other VIP's...

I'm kind of torn between the two. I kind of feel that it's fine because it's a DM server and having those around kind of gives it that "war and chaos" feel. But on the other side, as Maddo said:

That is very true, I wish the Baron required some sort of skill to shoot, but unfortunately anyone can just basically fly up behind someone and hold fire, due to the shitty auto-aim.

And making it a lame kill doesn't necessarily mean they are going to quit, unless they are stat-horny and actually care about having a lame kill on their record. The revenge menu is a good idea, so you can at least get the fags back after they M4 you to death.

Agree with changing it for a rc goblin(+ not lame but awsem DM blade kill and half health)
Agree its only provided for VIPs
Dont agree Richard saying you can only use it 2 times (i dont use it for shooting)
Dont agree with easy to hit (see Maddolis)
Agree with that i hope someday there will be no more topic about the baron
