Anyway this stuff worked great for me, getting an insane FPS, but a few problems. My settings don't seem to save.. It just always resets them. I guess this question goes pretty much to Exploited or anyone else using it; How do I save all the settings? And why isn't specular map showing? o:
Not saving? How so. And im guessing specular map isnt working cause u got a bad videocard or u didnt enable it in Graphics settings

The thing is it did work (specular map) before I put the config in. Oh and yeah my resolution doesn't save, plus I need to load a config (/exec) to get my settings.

Ah okay then, doesn't really matter. :P
Anyway, do you have any idea how I can let everything save normally? Since when my game starts I need to adjust the resolution again and load the settings I previously put. (Like, I had done /writeconfig namehere, then when I start up I need to do /exec namehere) - in Command.

I dont understand this part. Are u loading the config everytime u start the game or what ? If u are then dont do it anymore cause u dont have to.

K I'll explain. The config is loaded but the settings (for example brightness, and resolution, etc) are back to the standard of the config. So I adjusted those and saved them in a file (the ones I want). Somehow it doesn't save the settings so I have to execute the settings I want by doing /exec (filename here). Then I get the settings like brightness, etc, apart from my resolution, which still stays at 800x600 whilst I want it higher. So I'm wondering, why doesn't it immediataly put it right? And how do I put the right resolution permanently?

Open up config called config_mp.cfg in your player folder then remove all the text, paste all the text from yitch3.cfg into the file then save. go ingame change ur settings to whatever and it'll save if not, edit the file and just find out the commands and edit them. also now the yitch3.cfg will load up as soon as u load cod4.
