SA-MP 2008 Christmas Event

This year we are holding a special 'give away' event for the SA-MP forum and IRC community.
The event is sponsored by the SA-MP dev/beta team and KingJ Game Servers.

We'll be hosting a server starting around 12 midday (GMT) Saturday 20th December. On the server, there will be 2 pickups hidden in San Andreas. Whoever is the first to find them can claim the give aways.

The server address will be posted in this thread and also in the #sa-mp.xmas channel on GameSurge IRC. Please use your forum username or display name as your name to enter the server, this will make it easier to give away the gifts if you claim them. If your forum username contains characters not allowed in SA-MP, please use something close.

The winners of the give aways will be recorded and shown in game and also in this thread.

Game info:
The vehicles available are monster trucks and maverick helicopters located at each San Andreas airport. You may teleport between the airports using the provided commands shown in game. There won't be any available weapons although money is provided to restore health from food places.

Clues and rules:
- The event will be run with SA-MP 0.2X.
- The pickups are not under water.
- The pickups are not located in interiors.
- The pickups not located at the airports. Please don't hang around the airports - grab a vehicle and leave.
- There will be admins on the server shown with a Blue player color. You can report problems to an admin by using /pm.
- Please be courteous to other players. This isn't a deathmatch.
- Anyone displaying unacceptable behaviour or trying to ruin the game for other players will be banned.
- To claim the Steam gift, you must have a Steam account. If you want to claim the GTA IV PC gift, you must declare you are old enough to purchase the game in your country/region.
- The server may need to be stopped and restarted at a later date, if there are technical problems.
