Well, we discussed this on IRC a little and I think using the old jail (interior) would be quite awesome. You wouldn't have to worry about the people killing each other either, as it's impossible to kill in interiors. I also liked the /visit command and the flowers you get after being unjailed.
Would also bring some old memories and a fresh wind to the new ones.

[BUG] There also aren't any objects at the jail island by the way.

@ bug, Jay's world object handler may have had a hand in that.

Also, I believe that the jail island is pretty cool - perhaps everyone on one island would be cooler, so people would simply be stuck out there with a load of noobs. Sounds like punishment to me - perhaps all we need are showers and soap to drop?

The bug has been fixed, but with the old jail idea, I agree, it was better in my opinion, and indeed it was funny to laugh at people who where jailed in /visit.

Nonono! It's fun that you can go back home.. even if it takes hours.

Personally I still prefer the jail cell. It can be accessed without using /visit, it's more local and actually in Las Venturas, hence this being Las Venturas Playground, It was more realistic, and it was nice to spawn outside the police station after being jailed with just a bunch of flowers.

What about an island visible from LV?

And if they escape to the mainland.. back to jail?

Or some other really cool RP game.

Maybe they'd be teleported to the island for two minutes. If they're still on the island after two minutes, then they're teleported back to LV. If not, they're considered missing and they're free? But there should be a reason to stay on the island.. like the distance great or something.

Agreed. I like the cell much more as it's way more realistic. /visit and flowers are lovely.

But if you still want to stay with an island...how about this place? Close to LV and much space.



Person A = jailed
Person B = unjailed

If [b]person A escapes the jail island and goes on LV or somewhere else, he/she will have set a worth killing/hunting bounty on it thus you won't be able to enter any vehicle and/or use commands at all. And if person B kills [b]person A in an area out of the jail island, person A's jail time will increase and person B will get the money and maybe some score points as an additonal award? But if [b]person B kills [b]person A on the jail island, person B will have minus score points and get jailed aswell. [b]Person A will then be unjailed. It would also be funny if you'd save the jail minutes to the score stats.
