Its on the news, alot of scientist's tried to get an injunction against the experiment to stop it from happening, but it was denied. There is a chance that yes it can cause the end of the world and possibly the universe, but that chance is some 5%.

In other words don't worry about it, If it happens you wont know about it. You wont be here to have to worry about it.

Most times they have said it was due to circumstances beyond they're control. This however is completely in they're control, they're the one's creating what could end the world if it went wrong HaZe. Deal with it.
