First of all, here's 2/3 of the appeals for their info.

Good evening LVP Crew. I came here to request an unban for three wrongly banned people. There were about 6-8 of us in the same gang, in another world just messing around and having fights. TEF and Mike came in our world undercover. TEF as DellSupportSucks and Mike as DellIsAwesome. Some of us were randomly hitting eachother, you know just messing around. Keep in mind that we're in the same gang and a different world. Well apparently they did c-bug a couple of times, though they weren't in a fight nor the main world. The first one to be banned was [SaW]MoToRoLa, then n00ne and LangeLange to follow. Mike told me that the definition of bug abuse is A bug or trick used as an advantage to another player. As you should know by now no one had a disadvantage in this situation. Reasons for them to be unbanned include:

A. We weren't in /world 0, we were in /world 17
B. No one was using it in a fight
C. All of us knew what C-bug is, therefore no one had a disadvantage
D. We're in the same group
E. Mike and TEF watched us undercover, so they saw and knew that those 3 were only messing around and not having the intention to put another player in a disadvantage
F. Mike banned without warning or kicking them

I tried to talk to Mike about this and he just had the normal "I don't care if it was wrong" attitude. I talked to TEF about it before he left, he said this:

Quote:<&Nuwini> [4] [sLK]HaZe: are u gonna unban them or not
<%Nuwoni> [8] Munch: i know
<+Noweni> [4] [sLK]HaZe: u realize thats so damn lame
<%Nowani> [7] DellSupportSucks: Who?
<+Nowini> [7] DellSupportSucks: I can't
<+Nowuni> [7] DellSupportSucks: I know
<&Nuweni> *** [AZN]roger_k has been jailed.
<%Nowani> [7] DellSupportSucks: I will talk with Mike

seeing as Mike had no remorse or open mind at all, I thought I'd bring this to you guys with hope that you would be more open.

Your humble LVP player,

HaZe :D

I'm not posting this because I feel as if you deserve an explanation of my actions, but to explain to you why you and your friends are misled in your opinions.

I can not even begin to explain how humble this seems that you are not seeing the consequences if this is allowed. If I remove the ban on these three players, it will tell everyone that 'it is okay to abuse bugs in other worlds'.  Do you want that?  I think that not only do I speak for the crew, but the majority of LVP when I say that is not acceptable. So, being in other worlds (Reason A) is irrelevant.

Each person I banned were using the bug towards someone else (shooting at them). So, I invalidate your (B:) argument.

Interestingly enough, the people that were being shot at with the bug were not using it themselves. Also, being in the same group does not matter; if it did, someone would complain that everyone one the server is part of their 'group'. So, reason ©, (D), and (E) are also irrelevant.

For your Reason (F), (as I had mentioned in Motorola's appeal) what use is there warning you if you already know the rules? So you can get away with it without being punished? So, if these guys bug abuse again in a month, should I just warn them again? What about the 3rd time?

If players are using the bug, and know it's against the rules, it's obviously no use, as they do not respect the rules.

where was the disadvantage when everyone in there knew how to use the bug? my points are far from irrelevant.

You're not banning people for a good cause, you're just looking to ban people- and a community with administrators who are constantly *looking to ban people* is not a good one at all. You just disrupted a group of mates having fun, for no good purpose. It is a game afterall, and a group of mates were mucking around enjoying themselves, and you find it necessary to ban them for no good reason. We were having so much fun, yet you go into the world for the SOLE PURPOSE of finding a reason to ban them. That's just lame man.

I don't go around looking for people to ban. If I did that, I wouldn't have been admin for the past 3/4 of a year. I'd have to even go to say that the majority of the time I spend on LVP goes to actually helping people. Imagine that.

honestly that was a tongue in cheek type of thing, and i didnt mean it. but if your respect is gone for me, dunno what i can do. but either way when i'm arguing with the person who has the power to keep someone banned or unban someone, it's impossible for it to go my way. regardless of the points i pointed out, you won't listen and yeah i understand that. it's just unfortunate.

lol that's not necessarily true at all, you and I both know that people get into the crew and stay there even if they shouldn't be (we even agreed on a certain person like that, not naming names)

I agree with the ban. Let's set up a little scenario here.

We have A, B, C. Three players on LVP (you know who!). Now, they're all in a virtual world. However! They've activated godmode via their favourite cheat system, and are blasting each other with infinite RPGs and a shower of minigun bullets.

But, as they're in a virtual world and they all know how to cheat (as they are), let's leave them to it! Yes?

No. Cheating is cheating, bug abusing is bug abusing. The rules don't state that they only apply in world 0.. so they apply server-wide. We have rules and if you don't stick to them... don't expect to be around for long.

And just before you reply; this reply is not irrelevant. It's a 100% relevant way to explain what you think is right and wrong.

While the decision may already be set, I'd still like to say that for a simple C-Bug while in a Virtual World with your own gangmates really isn't a ban-worthy reason. Bug abuse is still bug abuse, cheating is still cheating, indeed, however, there's certain bans which are just plain bullshit. This is one of them. You say that it encourages others to abuse in other Worlds, but, newsflash, that's been going on for a while. C-Bug, being the small, idiotic bug it is, should really be a "kick, ban" type of thing. I mean, it really doesn't hurt anybody more. These are not my bans, therefore I cannot do anything, however, I'd like to just say that, ultimately, if you're going to bug abuse, just do it on a different server. It prevents shit like this from going down in the first place.

My Two Cents Worth! :+
