Las Venturas Playground 2.9

Now that I have finished development of the playable version of my server, I'm going to start coding for Las Venturas Playground again. I have some nice plans for version 2.9 of the mode, which may or may not be done by the time SA:MP 0.2.5 is released, if it does get released that is. However that won't stop some of the 0.2.5 features coming to LVP.

Anyway, I have made a list of what I personally think would be a nice addon for LVP and what I intend to change. Tomozj has recently contacted me about him wanting to rejoin the 2.X Development team, In which I will have to confirm with a member of the management that him joining again is ok.

Anyway, Here is my todo list, and since there is some nice changes, I would rather have management approval that committing these changes will be ok, They go in order of priority:

• Fix every single known bug in LVP. If this takes hours of searching the bug section to keep finding and fixing more, then it will have to be done. Bug fixing should be put ahead of everything in my opinion.
  
• Write an ingame race builder for admins. After doing some research into the LVP Race handler, I have come to realise how advanced it is. An ingame race builder will definitely be possible, and would be a great thing to have totally bug free.
  
• More options for VIP's. To help encourage donations, a few new options should be available for VIP's. These include:
  
  - A speedometer. As an optional command, VIP's should be able to enable there own speed-0-meter ingame!
  
  - VIP room extension. The VIP room should be extended. If SA:MP 0.2.5 does get released with the Actor functions included, Personal Stripper Bots should be a feature, along with other goodies such as VIP-Only stunt zones accessible via the room.
  
  - A VIP Chat. Although the regular chat is not used, since the VIP's of Las Venturas Playground is more of a community than the regulars, VIP chat will probably end up being used.
  
  
  
• Gang Improvements. Upon creating a new gang, Gang leaders should be able to do more things, such as giving leader rights to other members, setting a special gang weapon (off course for a large fee ) and other things, such as  /gang info should display a lot more information such as: the gang leader, gang stats (kills/deaths/ratio), and there gang banks balance.
  
• Bank Improvements. Bank's in LVP should be improved - further commands & parameters such as the Usage of proper ATM Machines (There is an ATM Object), Interest rates re-introudced (disclusing when players are disconnected, a lower percentage, and increases litterly every hour.
  
• New Minigames. A Few new minigames could be added, ones that have been proven to be a lot more fun & compelling. A Hydra Dogfight is one idea, along with Rhino Derbys, and a game I call, "Mine Madness", where players are able to drop land mines out the back off there vehicle.
  
• New Money Earning Methods. Since the amount of complaints that come in from LVP about players finding it hard to earn money, Players should be able to work for there money. A small mission like feature for Role Players would be nice, Something simple such as a Delivery mission.
  
  
• Lottery system. An ingame lottery for LVP would be nice, and again would be another way of earning money. With a draw every say, 30 minutes.
  
  [li]Challenge Improvements. Since the amount of gang members that enjoy there time in the fightclub, /challenge should offer more features. More information can be found in this topic.
  
  

Well thats it for now, But as I stated in the first bullet, I am not going to work on any of this until every single bug is fixed in LVP.

Comments & Suggestions are welcome, I'd also like some approval to confirm that these ideas will be ok.

Nice. At this point I don't see any reason not to do all of this. Maybe the ingame race builder shouldn't be available for admins because of possible useless or just too many races. Anyway, I'm looking forward to these changes

Well you could say apart from the bug fixing none of it is needed, but it will just be a nice addon in my opinion. There havn't been any 'real' changes for a while, So I can presume that a lot of players are starting to get bored of LVP.

Discluding the ingame Race Builder, (I'll make it for management only then to prevent too many admins building races, or perhaps set some kind of a limit btw) That is the order of priority, so those things will be the first few things to be done anyway.

And I think the VIP area should be the restaurant in Liberty City. Much bigger, music, and has an outside which could be used for some cool things. And as far as I know you cant get out into the rest of the city without admin hax.

yea, i would like to see some changes. I personally think that there should be some different minigames, races, and such. I know there is already alot right now. But can't we take out some of the really old races and put some new ones there?

I take it you didn't read my post. And why take out the old races?

i did read the post, im saying, some of the 'old' races have gotten alittle boring, so why not replace them with new ones?

We'll fix the bugs first, then we can start thinking of features after.
