I had a freezing problem:

The loading problem corrupted my save game and now im 0% again, yay!

That link was about the crashing, not about freezing. For freezing you just gotta wait a few..

Oh, my bad. Well if they want they could try the solution to see if it would work, just don't delete your game saves.

Uhmmm, well I'm stuq at that mission where you have to kill some enemies of that dude from Dubai. On the last part, where the helicopter comes, I always die. Is there a way to get armor or something? Any suggestions? I'm tired of driving the whole map again and again lol. :'(

Imo, GTA IV wouldn't fit much for the PC..
