how do  even get a image on signature part
i am getting rapped up in my own confusion

there are a few ways... a simple way is to go file, open, then the image, and then crop it with the cropping tool to the size you want it.
  You can open a new blank image, then open 'aswell' the image you want, then use the select tool, and choose the region you want, crtl-C, then in the blank one ctrl-v.

how do i modify a picture i find on the internet, or on my hardrive?
add words, my name and other stuff?
what program?
and what cropping tool you use?

I tried, not very good and lost quality while uploaded. but oh well.
