Forum Ideas - tomozj - 04-04-2007
I wasn't sure where to put this, as I thought putting it in the Forum Admin section wouldn't be good enough. So here goes:
Idea for the forum: Media Section
As we see more and more people creating movies, we see them taking up sections. It would be cool if we saw all these movies bundled together, for easy access. It would also prevent confusion for new users who are clueless as to where to post their movies.
If anyone has any more suggestions, or comments on suggestions, may you reply here!

I would like that idea tomozj. I think it will make the forums more "clean".
Would the tread "Request your signature here" also move to that section then?

I guess it would if you wanted it to - I'm not sure if it should be all media, or just GTA pics/movies.

Good idea, but it should be called something like GTA-related Multimedia. That way the search the pic thread and show this pic etc. won't be in there, but on another pile of rubble
Also another idea: how about making regulations about a maximum size of a forum banner? Take timmy12121 (something like that), he has this banner: http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/6783/bannnnnaaaavv0.jpg, way to big if you'd ask me.
400x100 would be a much more suitable size and the bigger ones should be removed.

Yeah, it is too big - but I can't do anything about it
I agree that we should let people make their sigs a little wider
And, I'm happy with the name 'Media Section' - sounds better

I don't think it's going to help.
If I look at the LVP section, i see:
images
movie
general
images
movie
movie
general
general/image
movie
image/movie
movie
general
So, the few general LVP topics will remain in the LVP section, and all the other stuff will be posted in a Media section.
The only difference is: No general LVP topics in it.
And there aren't 100 new topics each day, so I don't see the need to separate them.
