Need Your Help (revised to include previews) - Lynexon - 04-20-2008
I'm an author/writer and I take it very seriously. I am hoping for this to be my career. So, people, If you can and want to, I will start PM-ing chapters of my stories to you. The reason I'm doing this is because I need feedback, good or bad, on them. I'm very hard on myself and I need some criticism. The stories I'll PM are as follows:
TriBlood: Slightly darker than the rest of my stories but only Dark when it's necessary to the plot. The main character is named Lynexon (that is why my name is Lynexon on here), and he is part Demon, Human, and Vampire. The story takes place after a, what is thought to be, a nuclear disaster. After it, Vampires and Demons (the name given to all of the creatures who are neither Human, nor vampire) have inhabited the earth. Lynexon, after taking his final test to become a Protector: someone who protects other humans from violent demons and vampires, discovers his entire town, including his Foster father and teacher, murdered by the very people who he had refused to stop on his way back. He begins his search for revenge, but finds that who he seeks is the very one responsible for the very grim situation on Earth. During his search, he finds that before he can hope to stop them, he must fight his own natures that threaten to turn him into what he fights.
The Final Future: While my biggest story, it is in the process of rewriting and getting typed up.
Zero Strife thought he was a normal teenager with an abnormal problem. After waking up from a coma in February of 2004, he has amnesia and no one can find out who he is, until his sister, Kaci, finds and tells him that he is from 700 years in the future, sent back after a battle that nearly cost him his life. When he returns, nothing seems to bring back his memories, but he finds that he is/was the best hope at stopping an insane Crime boss who, due to an explosion in his Venus Prison, was given unheard of strength and invulnerability, as well as his subordinates. However, a strange woman who claims to be a goddess, tells him not to return to the way he was before, for if so, he will cause a cataclysm that would cause her other half to end Humanity's future, and that it has happened before.
The Party: (final iteration will not have Tekken Characters)
After the Cuban Missle Crisis, an organization was set up, in secret, to regulate the world's super-powers. However, the head of the organization used his influence to take control of the worlds crime-organizations and black market, and now, in 2008, invites the leaders of the world to his Island Mansion for a Party. At this Party, he kidnaps them and plans to install his control over the nations of the world. Using his power and influence, he plans on being the secret leader of the world. However, little does he know of the true rulers of society today, who step into the public in their "leaders'" absence. Little do they know that it was all going according to plan.
Please people, I need feedback and I look forward to it, so I hope you look forward to reading them.
Note: I write everything with the intention of the stories being made into movies/series/comics.

Just let them request if they want it or not, if you trust the one who requested it, you just PM some chapters.

Don't ask for favors from people you don't trust or are unsure of their trustworthiness. Even throwing in their face that you can't trust them can bring out the untrustworthy person within.

Well, Ok, I'll put it this way. If someone wants to help me and get a free copy of a KICK ASS action story, (hyping myself lol), reply and I'll start pming you chapters as I get done with them.
I am to chapter 12 of TriBlood and I am currently Typing up The Final Future. I also have my concept for my story The Party that I was going to have (I was actually beginning talks with Namco)Tekken Characters in. I'm going to rewrite it without the Tekken Characters but it's still going to be awesome.
I trust you guys, but I don't trust random people who might come to the forum for a min or two (non registered ppl) and leave, having copied my works.
Please people, I really want feedback, good or bad. I just ask for a little bit of your time. It won't be wasted and I will mention you in it when they get published. Hell, I might make some of you characters. I've done it with alot of my friends.

I'd personally stay away from zombies, warewolfs, vampires and a lot of other monsters and that, at least to begin with.
I mean there's something like 20 good books out there containing such monsters and magic (like lord of the rings), the rest are pretty lame and won't get good sales.
If there needs to be violence or action (I'm all for it), maybe something in the genre of a murder-mystery or whatever. Can't give you too many ideas because I haven't read a novel for quite some time, but start off with real-world stuff.

Understandable Madd, but in that story, it has EVERYTHING. Personally, I think most vampire stories have gotten generic, so I am reinventing them. You find that the vampires we typically hear about are the weakest of them. If you have every seen the Anime, Hellsing, you will kinda know what i'm talking about. Werewolves, while kinda in my story, aren't technically werewolves. They are just a type of demon that has a humanoid form, so as to not use their aura.
When I say everything, i mean EVERYTHING. It gives an explanation for everything from Vampires, to the Gods of lore, to Atlantis. You name any mythical creature, it is in it. ex. my explanation for the greek gods is that they were beings who used their magical powers to rule over people. Although it won't explain it until near the end and mostly in the Prequel, Phantom Realm.
Basically It will go as such. Triblood, then, in triblood, you find out why there aren't any such beings in our modern time. You find that humanity, to preserve the balance, forced itself to forget about it's warring past with such said beings. That is, until the cataclysm at the beginning of Triblood.

Half-Life 2 didn't have a ton of different zombies, but they all kicked ass.

well you can't say it isn't quality since you haven't read it, which is what I'm trying to get you to do. Also, all the things aren't just random enemies, like in half life or another game. Like I said, It has explanations to how they came into existence. But it's not like the entire story is him going around killing random things. It's action oriented, but action isn't all it is.
