BoogaBooga's Attack/Defend AREA 51 (APRIL 13TH 5PM GMT@LVP,CHECK PM FOR DETAILS) - HoogerBooger - 04-07-2008
Hello respected community,
DBT Media Resources proudly present:
BoogaBooga's Attack and Defend AREA 51!
Below is the information regarding to the event i am organizing:
The concept:
* 2 teams will each defend and attack 3 rounds at the Area 51, in total of 6 battles. (note that the teams will be put together randomly and the size of each team depends on how many people will sign up).
* Each player will carry along at least 1 million USD per round.
* The battles will be held in the different world in order to avoid other people messing it up.
The rules:
* Absolutely all the weapons and vehicles are allowed, even planes and helicopters.
* All the commands are forbidden, even ramping.
* The defenders are forbidden to leave the Area 51 territory.
* Each player will carry along at least 1 million USD per round.
* Once you die, you can join the fight in the next round.
* The winner is the team who kills all the members in the other team.
* Each team will choose a captain who will lead the team.
The time and location:
* LVP server, Area 51. (I will let you know the exact world by thursday evening, and please keep it confidential).
* Sunday the 13th, starting from 5 PM GMT, don't be late!
If anyone has any more ideas or suggestions, feel free to post here, but meanwhile post your ingame name here in the following form: /Sign Up YourIngameNick if you want to attend the event.. The sign up will be closed on 10th April to leave some time for the teams to plan their tactics and management.
If everything goes well, this will be a monthly event, held each time in a different location.

The teams were put together by dividing the members into 2 groups based on their sign up date / time.
Now as you all know who are your teammates, you can start planning your tactics.

I can see chaos and people abusing commands already, but you can give it a try ofc.

To break out of the form of classic A/D. The way I see it, everyone stands a chance, because you can use whatever you like, hell you can even helikill if you want to but eventually that won't do any good to yourself either.

Well, using a command = losing a round for the whole team, so it's their choice whether they get molested afterwards or not...

Care to elaborate why it is boring? For instance I looked your post and avatar for like 5 seconds and got pretty bored of you as well. And let's face it a guy who calls himself "mjaa" on the internet really does sound like someone who sleeps till noon and acts bitter when his mom asks him to clean his room instead of playing games. I mean you do have enough imagination to come up with a name other than 4 letter randomness and maybe even an explanation to back up your statements?

mjaa is a swedish "word". I agree it was stupid of me to take a name only sweds will understand.. But done is done.
I'm playing quite much with my computer, the reason is cuz its winter and snow and cold and it is not much more u can do..
why are you telling me all this?
I think its very boring to not be able to choice your own team. People you're going to fight with.
Because of this reason im not gonna sign up.
