About Screenshots. - SiX - 03-30-2008

I can't save screenshots that I take in-game.

I press F8, and then I can't find where it is saved. I'm currently using Windows Vista.

But with my other computer which is using Windows XP, it doesn't have any problems with screenshots.

Help me!  :?  :?  :?

Also: Is there a patch or something that will fix the Vista-SA:MP bugs?

Start > my computer > :C folder > Programme Files > Rockstar Games > GTA Sanandreas.

They should be there.

Thats what I said, they're not there!

Try doing a search.

Start Menu>>search>>Click on "Pictures, Music, or video">>check the "pictures and photos" box>>Click on "Use advanced search options">>Click "More advanced options">>Check the "search hidden files and folders"

By default the screenshot names are sa-mp-000, sa-mp-001, sa-mp-002 ect. So type sa-mp in the "All or part of the file name:" search box>>click "search".

Let the search complete before you go clicking on anything. It may take a while since its searching your ENTIRE computer. Once its complete, right click an image (e.g. sa-mp-000)>>open containing folder.

Quik Question: When you press F8 to take a screenshot, does it confirm that you took a screenshot in the chat box?

The search returned with no results...

But I'm not sure if it confirms my screenshot. I'll check right now.

Awnser to all your problems: On your keyboard press the Print Screen button

Then goto MSpaint, and choose the square "select" option. Then press ctrl+V and it should appear in your paint, then save it and there you are!

Tahda!

Using SA-MP's inbuilt screenshot function is faster, easier and better due to the fact you don't have to manually save each screenshot.

Print screen shouldn't even be considered.  8)7

Wait, I found a solution: Use Fraps!

Re: About Screenshots. - Rien - 04-02-2008

@Invion then you would only be able to take one pic at a time :+

anyways, go to the AppData folder > local > VirtualStore > Program Files > Rockstar games > GTA san andreas

they should be there, if you can't find the appdata folder just search for it in the start menu search bar :+

EDIT: _O- estore and I posted at the same time :')

Indeed, if you want to take some screens of something funny you see, you don't want to printscreen it, alt+tab, open paint, copy it in, save it, go back, make another screen etc.
