B&A IRC - Buhu. - 03-10-2007

Since we still do not see everyone on IRC I will now post a Turorial here, huray!

IRC Tutorial:

Step 1:
Download and install an IRC client, since I used mIRC in this tutorial I suggest you to download mIRC at http://www.mirc.com/get.html

Step 2:
After Installation and starting mIRC you will see this screen, fill in your name, etc and move on to the next step.

Step 3:
Go to Connect/Servers and click "Add".

Step 4:
After clicking "Add" you will see this screen, you can copy what I did or change it to anything you like and click "OK".

You can pick one of the following servers instead of bananaphone.nl.eu.gtanet.com.
irc.gtanet.com
extreme.nl.eu.gtanet.com (Netherlands)
liberty-tree.fr.eu.gtanet.com (France)
frosties.de.eu.gtanet.com (Germany)
tractor.nj.us.gtanet.com (USA)
irc.multitheftauto.com (Netherlands)
twozero.nl.eu.gtanet.com (Netherlands)
bananaphone.nl.eu.gtanet.com (Netherlands)

Step 5:
Click Select! (Make sure you select the right server in the list!)

You will now connect to the GTA Network IRC server you selected.

Step 6:
If everything goes as it should you should see something like this.

Now type : "/join #B&A" and press enter, you will now join the B&A channel!
and "/join #B&A.echo" to see what's going in in the B&A server.

Thanks for the tutorial Buhu. Does mIRC take much resources for computer or much internet bandwith? :?

Btw, the new channel is #B&A instead of #LVP.B&A
