Reporting a cheater. (+proof) - Noodle - 12-26-2007
The cheater is currently in the server as I'm writing this .. though I doubt anyone's going to read this in time to do anything while he's still in there.
He was exploiting a bug with the xmas presents and filling up his bank account, then filling up everyone else's account as well. I got 5 screenshots as proof.
No admins were there when it was happening either (but I did report it).
His IGN: hoochie
Time it happened: between 12:30 AM CST and 1:15 AM CST (probably still doing it, I'm tabbed out)
His ID at the time: 2

[BA]Xen0n (is that right?) logged on and gave him a warning. Personally I think he deserves a ban, or at the very least, his stolen money taken away.. but I don't have the authority to decided that obviously... and Xen0n was just following the rules, so I guess that works.

It's no cheat, or hack. It's a prop/present sync i believe i first witnessed it when xen0n made a prop, i walked into it, and it said i found present. This needs to be fixed, serious bug.

Well, your idea of a cheat/hack is debatable. If you discover a bug, report it, and move on.. that's fine. However, that's NOT what he was doing. He found the bug, earned $100,000 for it, then proceeded to exploit that bug over and over for personal gain (which is the definition of "hacking" in an online game). Each time he did it, he did it enough to fill 3 pages of chat.. and he did this at least 15 times from what I saw. Once his bank account was full, he kept doing it and sent the money to other players until their banks were full.
Fixing the bug isn't a huge deal, seeing as how christmas is over. What does need to happen is that this kid needs to be punished.. at least in my opinion. Then again, I have ZERO tolerance for cheaters in online games. I've run countless servers for several different games, and been admin in many others.. something like this should never (in my opinion) go unpunished.
Anyway.. what's done is done. No point in me dragging on about it any more.

Small note, Christmas is not over everywhere. Some countries celebrate Christmas on the 25th and the 26th.

Bugabusing != cheating
Though it is abusing like hell, but, we have to see stuff ourselves. And also as Xen0n warned him, it's handled I guess
