It's a small ability test, to make sure that people can kick ass. If fighting is not your ability, then you may be tested for another skill.

I mean no one stops at the red lights or drives on the right side of the road, no indicators either

So you need a few good drivers. And with good i mean good, not people like me who are bad drivers in some cars (But the NRG is fine
)
