Music that hits you in the feels - Lucy - 04-25-2016

'sup guys.

Figured I'd start another music-oriented thread. This time one that concerns music which hits you right in the feels (as the thread title states) when you're in a certain mood, be it good or bad. I'll start off with some stuff I listen to when I'm seriously feeling down - music which aids me into feeling miserable allowing me to acknowledge and let go of said misery or miscontent.

tl;dr
Post music that punches you right in the feels.

Graveyard - Uncomfortably Numb
This one gets me every time, whether I'm feeling happy or sad, it always hits me.

Dire Straits - Wild West End
This song makes me think of long lost good times, oh the melancholy.

The Doors - The End
Title says it all.

The Allman Brothers - Old Friend
Something about slide guitars and hoarse, troubled blues vocals always hits me square in the chest. If you can bare through the fairly long intro, a little gem of southern-ish blues awaits you.

Robin Trower - Extermination Blues
There's something about this guys playing/phrasing on his guitar that really encompasses the essence of feeling really, REALLY dismayed. Fuckin' great stuff right there.

Robin Trower - Bridge of Sighs (live)
Another great one by Robin Trower. You can tell he really feels it by the scenes on his face while he plays. Lovely. Saw him live once and totally experienced that shit. I was silently cryin' in the crowd from the sheer vibe this guy was giving off with his guitar playing and general aura of being "in the vibe" or whatever you call it. I'm sure you get what I mean.

Your turn, go ahead and post something that hits ya' right in the feels, yo'.

This one always boost me up! #1 car song if u ask me! :D

No matter how I feel, I could always listen to this one. Used this lovely guitar riff from the start as my ringtone for yrz.

One of the coolest songs, and definitely the best acoustic version I've heard!

Perfect.

#childhood, loved this song as a kid, either it's really nice song or im still a kid! It was originally written for MJ

And ofc, Jimmy Paige at his best! It'd be my fav all time song.

Great track right here^ It's rather lengthy, and there's a lot of variety (piano, guitar, to name a few) - some parts send a shiver down my spine more than others! I ocassionally dose off for 15 minutes to this or one of the many other variants in the early afternoon  :+

Or...on the completely opposite end of the musical spectrum, some of Avicii's work gives me this oh so wonderful sensation :9~

I used to really dig a lot of mainstream artists (no need to name them, I'm sure..) - but a friend taught me there was much more to be seen and enjoyed, now I tend to explore a little more :)
