Re: Windows 10, SA:MP and ALT-TAB - George - 09-28-2015 (09-27-2015, 09:27 PM)cake link Wrote: Clean installed Win10 a week ago, still need to install SA:MP You do! Only one (re)install, though? I can beat that my friend... Around 2 weeks ago I decided to reinstall just out of good practice. Was running fine for a week. I turned my [Lenovo] PC on one morning, and both the WiFi and Ethernet were missing from Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections. Tried removing and re-installing the drivers, registry cleanup, alternate local user, Windows' "Troubleshoot problems" feature, etc. After a good few hours of playing around -- nothing. A clean install fixed it fortunately. Honestly, I didn't mind. Windows 10 formats and reloads pretty damn quickly. If this were XP, that would be 1 1/2 - 2 hours of my day down the drain! Those manufacturer supplied copies of Windows from Toshiba, HP, etc. are the WORST -- the amount of crap they bundle is unreal. In this instance I didn't have this issue thanks to the built-in reset W10 feature. RE: Windows 10, SA:MP and ALT-TAB - George - 01-13-2017 To update: I started using this fix instead a while back which has worked flawlessly: Quote:The easiest way to fix the alt tab bug is by making a shortcut to the game executable.
