[Feature]getid ? - Darkfire - 01-05-2014 You can remove alot, but removing the /getid is just about the worst you can remove. Get it back, I'm not the onlyone missing it. Re: Where is /getid ? - [NB]Zaibatsu - 01-05-2014 +1 yeah now when there are 60+ players online and its not easy to find someones name (e.g wanted to report a cheater, took me a while to scroll down the names) Re: Where is /getid ? - Holsje - 01-05-2014 http://trac.sa-mp.nl/lvp/ticket/1320 I Agree it is useful Re: Where is /getid ? - Madlaggz - 01-05-2014 Definitely. I still find myself typing /getid, even though it doesn't work. Re: Where is /getid ? - Darkfire - 01-05-2014 Like yesterday, I made a gang then typed /getid haze. Pissed me of Re: Where is /getid ? - Agent - 01-06-2014 +1 One of the most useful commands. Re: Where is /getid ? - Joeri - 01-06-2014 The underlying issue with the need for /getid in the first place was that some commands do not parse partial nicknames correctly, which has been fixed yesterday by Cake. When you think about it, using getid made little sence since all that did was give you the id for a partial nickname (/getid bon would return the id for player 'bonsai') which you'd then enter into another command which was already able to do that on its own. All commands should lookup the playerid through the (partially) entered nickname and the won't be a need for remembering or knowing playerid's Re: Where is /getid ? - Richard - 01-06-2014 ID's are shorter than nicknames though! Especially with popular parts in names. Re: Where is /getid ? - HaZe - 01-06-2014 Don't try excusing the removal of /getid, that's absolutely asinine. Re: Where is /getid ? - George - 01-06-2014 +1 to getting it re-added. |
