Good day,
Well, there are no commands in /survival except /home set and /spawn, so no problem there. In main, on the other hand, one can always ask for day/night. If you are a VIP and you need night, just let the other people know that you'll change to night and go for it. I am online most of the time, so I can make sure you have your 14 minutes of night every hour.

I don't like it either when night is immediatly changed to day.VIP's should a limited time to use that command.
I say one time per hour it's enough.

thiaZ implemented a timer months back, but it was disabled soon after. I'll look into re-activating the timer.

Indeed sometimes I say I'm going to change the weather to night or rain to check some stuff, in that way they wont' change it back right away, by the other hand I get the problem where a admin/mod or even players join and do it.
And crew shouldn't be bossy all time on the weather, give the newbs a chance otherwise they won't feel welcome.
If I could've set a weather for only me would've been good.

I saw a server which had individual day/night and weather for each player. Maybe that is possible here too. We shall see what the admins decide.

The rain is usually changed because people with less powerful computers or slow internet connection get massive lag. But I guess we can have a rain/snowfall from time to time too.
EDIT: Ah, look, it is raining at the moment. <3

I can understand with rain or snow (though the game is 7 years old on computer...), but I remember when I played there was barely any night. Seriously guys, mix it up a bit.
