Missions - Joeri - 04-06-2012

One of the biggest chances will be missions.
A mission in a task one or more player can complete within 5-10 minutes. They should be given a  cash reward on completion.

The solo missions we have thought up till now:
  • Transportation: You need to transport or deliver a package or a person to a location. How faster you complete this, the higher the reward.
  • Carjacking: like car export but you need to complete a list before you can use the regular export. You can also export boats and planes.
  • Smuggling: packages have been dropped in the sea, get them and drive back to the compound.
  • Bombing: You have to get the bomb and place it on a building and take cover.
  • Firetruck: extinguish a fire somewhere, like in single player.
The more missions you do, the more difficult they will become, the bigger the reward will be. Completing a set of missions will also get you special perks, like exporting all cars and house improvements.


We also want to add co-op missions and are still brainstorming on this, if you have an idea please post!

Hard to actually do this i think:

co-op or single missions where the driver (and the passenger have) has to destroy other cars which are located at car dealerships:

  • Wang Cars
  • Otto's Autos
  • Wheel Arch Angels (where the cars were parked which can be tuned)
  • Loco Low (where the cars were parked which can be tuned)
  • Transfender (park a car next to them which has to be destroyed)
  • The Dealerspot from SinglePlayer near Jefferson Motel

Make a mission or minigame wasnt sure where to post this idea, like the movie "Gone in 60 seconds" Where you have to steal a bunch of cars in SF and take them down to the docks and put them on the ship with the crane like in Single Player, Or perhaps for a minigame make it team against team where you have to steal for e.g: 10 cars before the other team does and they are scattered all over a city

And where would the trucks be?
All at same place or different locations on the map?

What trucks? It would only be stealing cars no point doing bikes unless you mod them but have the cars pre-tuned with sick paintjobs,mags, etc, then each team has a two man team, If there is 4 people on a team two groups of two on a nrg then when you get to a car one hops off steals the car and they goto the docks :D and have a command to spawn a bike or somthing maybe?  (only available when you start it)

[b]Just an addition for the /deliver missions:
  • Parking the Trucks at the Trucking Home would do it.. if someone wants to deliver just make a teleport to the Trucking Home ( /tpdeliver e.g. )

  • Add trailers to the delivery-spots for everyone to see so that u can actually do /deliver missions in a row .. just like parking 2-3 trailers next to each other as they're in at the Trucking Home!

  • After finishing a mission autorepair the trucks so they dont scrap too early.

What I mean with the trucks is where we found them so we can deliver them, before it was around college school, now it's somewhere else.

Trucktrailers are at the Trucking Home (turf in the south of LV) and i remember one parked opposite of the Burger Shot in the north of LV next to the carwash ;)

There are no trailers in SF i think think and i can remember trailers next to railwaytrack in LS near the Pizza Stack where u do the first  mission with Ryder in SPmod  :?

^Indeed put them near the docks at the army base just down the road from the police station
