[S] Killstreak sounds! - iou - 12-04-2011 I love what you did with the Headshot sync Jay, the quake sound is awesome. I see some potential with this stream thing, so I suggest adding more quake sounds for different killstreaks as it would be awesome. If someone disagree's, then simply add a way to turn it off. Oh and, why not add a way to choose between female and male voices for those who want the female orgasm-like sounds? ![]() I put together a rar file with a bunch of male and female sounds, including the Monsterkill with and without a song. Click here to download. 2 Kills within 10 seconds (or just 2 kills in a row to simplify coding): Quake Double Kill - sound. 3 Kills within 10 seconds (or just 3 kills in a row to simplify coding): Quake Triple Kill - sound (or Quake Hattrick?). 4 Kills: Quake Rampage - sound. 8 Kills: Quake Ultra Kill - sound. 12 Kills: Quake Impressive - sound. 16 Kills: Quake Killing Spree - sound. 20 Kills: Quake Monsterkill sound combined with an awesome song that plays for 16 seconds (perhaps for everyone who isn't inside a vehicle as they listen to radio?). 25 Kills: Quake Unstoppable - sound. 30 Kills: Quake Godlike - sound. 35 Kills: Quake Ludicrouskill - sound. 40 Kills: Quake ComboWhore - sound 45 Kills: Quake Holy Shit - sound. 50 Kills: Quake Wicked Sick - sound. The above sounds may be in the "wrong" or "different from quake" order, if you care about that then just add them the way you want. I still suggest the same kill counts though, because in SA-MP it's a whole lot easier to get a killing spree than in Quake, or rather, it's harder to die in SA-MP excluding the Headshot and/or carbombs. Also, it would be awesome if once one of the above killing spree sounds are triggered, send out a regular client message to everyone saying: leaty (ID: 0) is Godlike! Kill him to win (insert $ here). It would need an array for different sayings depending on the killing spree sound though, example: "leaty (ID: 0) is Monsterkill!" should be "leaty (ID: 0) just got a Monsterkill!". Others like Holy Shit should be something like "Holy Shit! leaty (ID: 0) got 45 kills in a row!". Some other suggestions: 1. Add knives and if you kill someone with a knife -> Quake Humiliation - sound, if something isn't working with knives or if you receive complaints then just remove it again (but it doesn't hurt trying!). 2. Quake First Blood - sound in all or some DM/TDM minigames. 3. I saw people complaining about Headshots, I can see why because it may ruin other fighting styles since if you're a good FPS player you'll be able to flickshot peoples head pretty easily. I personally love the Headshot feature so I do not wish it to be removed or changed. However, I suggest limiting the "Spawn Weapon" bullets for the sniper, max 100 bullets? Complaints: 1. Well, 50% of the times that you kill someone with a headshot, it isn't shown on the killist and it says that he/she died by using /Kill. 2. Not really a complaint from my part, but just so you know, you can actually get headshots on people sitting in a car or on a bike/bicycle, the HS hitbox isn't on the head though. I enjoy headshotting people in cars and on bikes, however I still suggest adding IsPlayerInAnyVehicle because cruisers are gonna get owned despite their speed (since HS sync is local). Having to stream the audio files so frequently would hog bandwidth if a decent amount of people were playing. But hey, I'm not a dev! If this'd work, I'm all for it.
