Well, yes, no. xD I dont think much about how many kills u can get in a row, this game aint like CoD at all (thank god).
It's more about the skill involved in killing enemies that have alot more health, aka normal mode. (Just talking about montages here, not what the game is about)
Pulling off 3 kills in a row against people on Normal looks much more impressive than getting 3 kills in a row on Hardcore,
simply because they die in 2-3 shots (1 with sniper no matter where u hit) and therefore its mostly about who sees who first.
Dont think I have to explain the difference between hardcore gameplay and normal mode gameplay seeing as you've played this quite alot xD
But yea imo normal mode = skill
