All Points Bulletin Reloaded - Danny - 05-07-2011

Some of you may remember the game APB (All Points Bulletin) that was released a couple of years back. It looked very promising, like a MMO GTA4. And yet, not long after it's launch, they closed down the servers and stopped selling the game.

Now, it's back and free! It's too late to sign up to the Closed beta, but an open beta is expected some time early this year.

I can just imagine it's gonna be another one of those games where you can play for free, but if you actually want to win any fights you have to spend money on better weapons, etc.

Well, exactly, which is why I probably won't like it

I really liked BF:H during the beta, because we were given points to make nice characters and stuff, after the beta we had to start from scratch and had to pay to literally rent weapons and clothing, and I have the feeling they'll do the same to APB, which would be sad, given its huge customization features. I'd much rather pay money for the entire game, rather than playing a game for free, and then having to pay for everything in the game.
