3.0 Development
Las Venturas Playground 3.0 has been in development now for quite some time. It is a complete rewrite of the Las Venturas Playground gamemode and is featured on Multi Theft Auto.
When we are ready to update to the new version, the SA:MP server will be permantly switched off and there will be some updates around the forums and website to reflect the move to Multi Theft Auto.
Here's a list of some of the new, already completed features:
Minigame Handler
3.0 has a brand new minigame handler which allows players to build and play their own minigame. It is VERY customizable and saves beyond sessions! Things like building Haystacks minigames, Mazes, Races, Derbies or (team)Deathmatch minigames are all possible. You can even create parkours using the ingame map editor.
You can even create a race on the MTA Map editor and upload it directly to the server!
Improved sync
Multi Theft Auto's sync is far more superior to that of SA:MP's. Headshots and bodyparts are synced. There is no more need to lead aim either.
Houses and Businesses
Players can now request their own house to be built! You can either sign up with SA Construction and build it yourself using the many construction options, vehicles, cranes and tools, or you can pay another workman to do it for you!
Houses are extremely customizable. You can change the name, price, interior, and you can store things like vehicles, weapons, food, etc there. You can decorate the inside by buying decorations such as lamps, tables, mini bars, TVs, etc, and place them how you want them!
Properties (or businesses, as they are now known) have been redone from scratch. There are MANY new features. You can upgrade businesses by purchasing promotion contractors. You can hire staff, purchase accessories such as CCTV, and more! You can customize them as much as you like. Each business also has its own interior, which, similar to houses, you can customize to your liking. NPCs are used to simulate staff.
Interface, Peds and GUI
LV is covered in peds. Peds drive and walk around just like in singleplayer!
The interface has been highly improved compared to SA:MP's using MTA's powerful GUI!
Gangs
Gangs can be created by any player and customized to the extreme! Each gang can have custom levels for members which allow each member to do different things. Gangs can capture turfs and purchase bases and gang houses. Gang spawn weapons, custom vehicles and radios have been introduced too.
LVP Radio
The next generation of LVP radio has been implemented! You can now literally join the game, hop in a vehicle and tune in to LVP radio which will have a community member djing!
Missions
Right now there are 1,411 different missions loaded in LVP 3.0. You can do missions for everything and anything. Pizzaboys, Garbage Collectors, Policemen, Taxi Drivers, and much, much, more!
And that's only the beginning! Stay tuned for more and a promotional video.
