I'm not usually into fantasy game with wizards and what not, but this is really awesome. Basically, you have 8 'elements', these can be combined to make epic spells. The awesome part is that there's no mana or magic points or whatever, so you can just keep on casting stuff.
There's a pretty big demo on Steam, I suggest you try it

Depends on how you use your powers, I've beaten some fights easily with the use of the right spells, while other times they took me 3 times as long.
And yeah, the game really wants you to play it cooperatively.
