I want to see their response. Hopefully they'll see the error of the ways, or at least so many people will complain that they'll change it or something.

and yeh BF3 is gonna be awesome :) most realistit game i ever saw

Quote:First we would like to remind you that the idea of unlocking blocked cores is only valid for Phenom II X2 CPUs. Its younger brother, Athlon II X2, is based on a dual-core die right from the start and there is nothing to unlock there.

Unfortunately not :/

Steam actually has a similar policy, except it's less intrusive: there's more boundaries to what they can and can't collect from your computer.

Re: Battlefield 3 - Kase - 08-25-2011

Well, as long as it only helps Steam on its development, I'm fine with it.

Re: Battlefield 3 - Dust - 08-27-2011

this should handle BF3 just fine: http://www.inet.se/kundvagn/visa/670006/2011-07-28

About Origin, any news about a reply from them?

Re: Battlefield 3 - Danny - 08-27-2011

Maybe :P

I certainly hope not though. The TOS is pretty scary though.

"You agree that EA may collect, use, store and transmit technical and related information that identifies your [...]  Application usage (including but not limited to successful installation and/or removal) [...] software usage and peripheral hardware.

EA may also use this information combined with personal information for marketing purposes... We may also share that data with our third party service providers in a form that does not personally identify you."

Seriously, how can that be legal?
